Paul Polizzotto was raised in Manhattan Beach, California, and spent much of his youth on a surfboard. After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles, Paul melded his passion for the ocean with his keen entrepreneurial drive, inventing a groundbreaking method to reduce pollutants from flowing into storm drain systems and thus protecting the waters into which they feed. The Zero Discharge process provided the basis for Paul's first green business - Property Prep - and earned him recognition from the Environmental Protection Agency as an "Environmental Hero."
